Assignment 2

Write in complete sentences. 

Answer the questions in at least 2-5 sentences in a blogger post in your new multimedia Blogger.

* This assignment is due on Wed. January 29 at 11 p.m.


1. What media is used in my everyday life?
I use television on my everyday life, because it keeps me on track of what's going on around the world, besides it's also for entertainment.

2. In what ways have I used multimedia for a class assignment before? 
I specially remember that I had a lovely teacher a couple of years ago and she used to make us bring the newspaper every week just to know what's happening around us and we would just do fun activities with the information in the newspaper.

3. Explain how the World Wide Web is considered multimedia.
It is considered a social media, because it helps to communicate. This could be by sending online messages or e-mails, and it also has a lot of info such as newspaper websites, online radio and so on.

4. What is the difference between time-based media and static-media? Give examples of each.
Time-based media is a media that can be changed over time. Static-media can be even a single image that won't change.
5. Insert a video (into your blog) that discusses/shows/involves multimedia you are interested in. Now answer the following questions after you insert the video. How is this multimedia? Why does this interest you?

I think this is pretty interesting because i can't really believe that a simple image with some nature sounds can really relax you and help for meditation.Define the following terms by researching for answers on the World Wide Web.

7. Programming Languages(programming language) (computer science) a language designed for programming computers
8. Scripting Language (program)(Scripting/Language) Programming language that adds functionality to a web page. Examples are: Javascript, PHP, Perl and C++.
9. Interactivity(interactive) synergistic: used especially of drugs or muscles that work together so the total effect is greater than the sum of the two (or more)
10. Pixelan area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.
